Who is Donor Drive?

DonorDrive® Social Fundraising is online software for peer-to-peer fundraising and event registration. Buddy Walk® participants are using DonorDrive to sign up their family team, create fundraising pages and celebrate their participation with close friends over their social channels. The Down Syndrome Association of Snohomish County has chosen DonorDrive as the preferred vendor for registration and fundraising software.  

How do I register for the 2016 Snohomish County Buddy Walk® online?

Go to the REGISTER NOW button and complete the form. You will be guided through the registration process. Once your transaction is complete, you will receive a confirmation email receipt.

What is unique about this website?

This website is so unique because it allows participants to register for the event AND collect donations from their friends and family through an incredibly efficient mechanism. DSASC's Event Manager and event Participants can track the progress of donation collections by viewing secured online reports.

Is my information secure?

Yes. DonorDrive has made every effort to protect your information. We use industry-standard SSL encryption techniques to make sure that your credit card information, passwords, and personal information travel securely over the Internet. We have also installed an encryption engine on our database server so that your data is securely stored.

What is the long website address for that I received in my confirmation receipt?

This website address is your personal url and it will take you to your personal donation page. This address link is automatically included in any emails that are sent through your email center after you have logged into the website. You can also copy and paste this link into any other form of email.

Can I change my personal url?
Once you are registered, log into your Dashboard. You will have the opportunity to create a personal url (customized portion of the link after the last forward slash). Go to the event site and click Participant Login on the top left hand corner of the home page. Once you are logged into your personal fundraising page, click on "Welcome (Your Name)," then Profile (in the top right hand corner of the page). Once you get to the Profile tab, click on Edit Your Page under the 2016 Snohomish County Buddy Walk. Your personal URL will be displayed with an option to change it. Make the change to a new URL, then scroll to the bottom of the page and click the Save Changes button.

Can friends and family make a donation to a Participant by going through the main website?

Yes. On the home page of the website, friends and family can locate a Participant by clicking on the "Donate Now" button and searching for the name of the person in the search box. By typing in the name of the Participant, they will be directed to the Participant's personalized pledge page.

Is a portion of the registration fee a donation?

While there is no registration fee for the 2016 Snohomish County Buddy Walk®, the cost of purchasing a t-shirt is not tax-deductible because you receive the t-shirt in return. 

How does the Down Syndrome Association of Snohomish County utilize the contributions?

Contributions support our ever-growing number of programs for individuals with Down syndrome, their families, and their friends.

  • Connections: provides new and expectant parent outreach, a birth-to-five playgroup, and trainings for medical providers on delivering a Down syndrome diagnosis.
  • Playgroups: the DSASC has established playgroups for multiple age groups, giving kids and their families the opportunity to form friendships and share information.
  • Education: DSASC offers quarterly speakers, and has offered scholarships to a major cross-disability inclusion conference in Portland.
  • Activities: the DSASC provides many activities for families throughout the year, including a swim party, a spring break event at Pump It Up, a World Down Syndrome Day karaoke dance party, and more.

Your support of our 2016 event will help us start a new Teen Connections program, providing opportunities for teens with and without disabilities to form friendships and socialize in the community. We can start additional playgroups, and expand our programming to provide opportunities for adults with Down syndrome. 

Why is the "Search Box" not finding a Participant that I know has registered?

You must type in the first name or last name of the Participant exactly how it is spelled. It is not case sensitive. 

How can I see who has donated to me?

Go to the Donations section on the top of the site after you have logged in to your Dashboard. Click on “Donations Received” from the drop down list to view your list of donors.

I forgot my Username and Password. How can I find out what they are?

Click on “Participant Login”, if you forgot your password click on the “forgot password” link.  You will receive an email with your username and password. 

Not all of my Donors are showing up on the scroll mechanism. Why?

As your Donors make a contribution, they have the option of whether or not they want to appear in the recognition scroll. 

Will DonorDrive put my name on various mailing lists?

Donor Drive division collects and maintains only personal information that is voluntarily submitted to us. We will only share personally identifiable information with a third party if and when the individual submitting this information has permitted us to do so, or if we are required by law to do so.
